I've loved these tunes ever since I heard 'em blasting from some bus driver's horrible soundsystem. She's pretty cute too.

Wow, these are really nice, especially the first track with its minimal synth goodness. Do you know anything more about them?
Well, they were big in Ethiopia a couple of years ago. Abby Lakew lives in the states--like a number of Ethiopian singers. I think she lives in Texas. Anyhow, I really liked the sound of these tunes--there is another guy, Ahmed Teshome, who also makes tunes that have that same synth sound. It's a big of a soft departure from some of the other music that you hear blaring out of buses across the countryside.
